Founded in 1963 by Michael Osheowitz, Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) is a mentoring program that helps marginalized students gain admission to competitive colleges and universities. The program provides training on a variety of topics, such as managing summer homework, email and phone etiquette, making a good first impression, and building networks and relationships. Van Ann Bui is the director and Grace Pajonk is the associate director of the SEO Law Program in New York City, New York.At the end of the placement in the company, interns are well-prepared to attend law school, ahead of their peers in terms of training and understanding. Recently, a prospective law student contacted Fernández-Rocha for advice on the SEO law scholarship program.
SEO Law offers three scholarships per year to help promising and underrepresented incoming law students attend the law school of their choice.The Institute is an intensive program that is designed to prepare fellows for law school and entry into the field of corporate law. He spoke about the challenges and opportunities related to diversity in the legal profession. Participating law firms receive access to high-level students as their interns who arrive at the firms are prepared and trained through an intensive program of academic and professional preparation.The SEO Scholarship is designed to prepare fellows for law school and to enter the field of corporate law.
